Ok…. I want to tell you about something I've been working on for a little bit. Im starting a podcast (took long enough eh?) and it’s called Talk That Pod. The show is being designed to feature conversations with the most interesting podcasters in the world about their shows, the podcasting ecosystem and more broadly how podcasts are influencing our increasingly messed-up society. The show is probably still a few weeks away from launch, but I wanted to start putting the word out there.

🚨 AND IF YOU’RE A PODCASTER… with a decent-sized audience and you think you might want to be on the show, fill out this form. Stay tuned!

Here are this week’s podcast recommendations ⬇️

TECHNOLOGY

Version History

Version History is a show about the best gadgets ever. And the worst ones. And the ones that might have changed the world, if they ever actually shipped. Every week, your favorite people from The Verge and beyond hang out to tell and debate the story of a gadget, app, website, or any other tech product, and try to determine the item’s true legacy. Because not every product is a hit, but every product has a story. And the ones that really matter aren’t always the ones you think.

SOCIETY & CULTURE

Question The Default

Question The Default is a podcast that challenges the unspoken rules and harmful norms shaping modern life. Host Harry Corin is joined by guests from sport, entertainment, politics, and academia as they explore some of the biggest issues we face today. From mental health, masculinity, and addiction to the growing impact of AI on our health, the series responds to the headlines and conversations shaping the world right now. Too many of our struggles persist because we accept “that’s just the way things are.” This series challenges that – opening up honest conversations about what it really takes to move forward. Created in partnership with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Question The Default goes beyond awareness to uncover the systems, stories, and beliefs that need to change.
